Beach light is different
A beach wedding runs on different light than a field. The ocean here faces east, so the sun sets behind you, over the town and Rehoboth Bay. In the last hour of the day that gives soft, even light on the sand, and color in the sky above the dunes after.
Sunrise is the other choice. The sun comes up over the water and the beach is close to empty, which is hard to find at any other hour between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
